The effectiveness of our process lies in the dry, cold diffusion of a stable, ready-to-use hydrogen peroxide and peracetic solution, X-CID. This automatic process is conducted with no human presence in the room and guarantees optimal reproducibility. Its effectiveness has been validated in accordance with European standard EN 17272: 2020.
The biocidal solution acts as a non-specific oxidant: it destroys bacteria, spores, fungi and yeasts, viruses and mycobacteria including tuberiferous bacilli.
Diffused homogeneously in the form of dry mist by our RHEA Compact and RHEA Titan units, X-CID reaches all surfaces, even those least accessible: ceiling, top of walls, light strip, under the bed, table or armchair.
Hydrogen peroxide is a powerful bactericidal agent. However, to be effective, it must be heated to at least 60°C and used in high concentrations, which makes it corrosive: it can therefore damage surfaces, paint and coatings in the room treated. In addition, its action is slow.
To improve its effectiveness and prevent any damage to surfaces, we developed the X-CID stabilised solution: with a low hydrogen peroxide concentration, it is boosted by the addition of peracetic acid.
