Equipped with a medical HEPA filter and HEPA MD® technology, PLASMAIR® Guardian ensures the destruction of microorganisms in the air, in particular filamentous fungi, responsible for invasive aspergillosis. PLASMAIR® is the only biological air purifier technology that has proved effective in reducing invasive aspergillosis in a haematological intensive care unit (Gerlinger 2016).
The mobile unit also retains Volatile Organic Compounds and odours, without any release of toxic by-products and with no creation of formaldehyde.
With its high capacity, PLASMAIR® Guardian allows you to rapidly handle large volumes. The mobile unit is easily connected to IMMUNAIR® and BIOCAIR® rooms to create a protected environment area.
The effectiveness of the built-in HEPA MD® technology has been demonstrated by independent institutions such as CNRS and the Harvard School of Public Health.
